Donne Matheny

Donne Matheny, Office Manager

Donne grew up in Grass Valley, CA, although she spent much of her childhood skiing and exploring the Tahoe area. Donne has always aspired to work in an animal care-oriented field. After high school, she was employed as a pet groomer and animal caretaker, and started taking college classes to obtain her undergraduate degree. When she was offered the opportunity to move to Tahoe and join the team at IVH as a veterinary assistant in early 2016, she gladly accepted. Donne continued her college curriculum and obtained her Associate of Arts in Business Entrepreneurship from Sierra Community College in May 2019. Donne was promoted to the Office Manager position in August 2019. In her free time she enjoys skiing, kayaking, biking, hiking, and any other outdoor activity. Donne has a loving Pitty mix Rosie, two cats Rajah and Duchess, and a Holland lop rabbit Madoko.
