Hospital Policies

Appointment Policy To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please understand that we make a genuine attempt to see each client on time, and sincerely apologize for longer than expected wait times. Although we make every effort to help our patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and/or other animals. This is why we ask that all animals are on a leash or contained in a pet carrier before entering the lobby waiting room. *** With current COVID-19 protocols in place, we are not allowing clients into the building unless 100% unavoidably necessary. If you happen to enter the facility, face coverings that cover both the nose and the mouth, are required. If you have exhibited any symptoms of COVID-19 any time within the last two weeks, we ask that you please postpone your appointment (if feasible) and self-quarantine at home. Appointments can easily be rescheduled, and it shows us that you respect our time, our staff, and our health and well-being here at Incline Veterinary Hospital. Please use social distancing while waiting in our parking lot, and/or speaking with our staff. Thank you! ***
Payment Policy We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. We accept all major debit and credit payments, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Cash, Checks, and Care Credit are also accepted. A 1.5%, or $1.50 (whichever is greater) monthly service charge will be applied to all overdue accounts.
Patient Arrival Policy For the protection of yourself, and the safety of all involved, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area and/or exam rooms. *** With the current COVID-19 situation, we ask that you please call us upon arrival to our office. We will bring medications, prescription foods, and Over-The-Counter items out to your vehicle as curbside delivery. For appointments, please call us upon arrival and stay in your vehicle. We will come out to your vehicle, take a history on your pet, and bring your companion animal inside our facility. The doctor will follow up with you afterwards. We understand these new protocols are odd and may be a slight inconvenience, but we thank you for your cooperation in keeping every one safe, including yourself. Thank you! *** |
